This Cookie Notice explains how Angus Intelligence, LLC (“Angus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the public Angus Intelligence® website, including pages available at https://www.angus-intelligence.com and related public website pages (the “Website”).

1. What Are Cookies?

2. Where This Notice Applies

This Cookie Notice applies to the public Angus website.

Google Analytics is used on public Website pages only.

Google Analytics is not installed in, and does not track activity within, the authenticated Angus4Law application. Angus does not use Google Analytics to track legal-workspace activity, Matter Data, Case Memory, documents, prompts, drafts, or other Customer Data processed through the authenticated Angus4Law Platform.

3. Cookies We Use

Angus may use the following categories of cookies.

A. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies support website operation, security, fraud prevention, session management, load balancing, and user-requested functionality.

These cookies may be used without consent where permitted by applicable law because they are necessary to provide the Website or a service requested by the visitor.

Examples may include cookies or similar technologies used to:

  • maintain website security;
  • remember cookie-consent choices;
  • prevent abuse or malicious activity;
  • support page delivery and website functionality; and
  • preserve essential session or preference settings.

B. Analytics Cookies

Angus uses Google Analytics on public Website pages to understand how visitors use the Website and to improve website performance, content, and usability.

Analytics information may include:

  • approximate location derived from IP address;

  • general website interactions;
  • website performance information; and

Angus uses Google Analytics through a Google Analytics measurement ID directly installed on the Website. Angus does not currently use Google Tag Manager.

Angus does not currently use Google Signals.

Angus does not intentionally use Google Analytics for targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, advertising audiences, or retargeting.

4. Cookie Consent

Where required by applicable law, Angus will request consent before placing non-essential analytics cookies on a visitor’s browser or device.

Visitors may use the Website’s cookie-consent banner or preference controls to:

  • accept analytics cookies;
  • reject analytics cookies; or
  • change applicable cookie preferences.

If you reject non-essential analytics cookies, the Website should remain available, although certain non-essential analytics functions will not operate.

Angus does not control Google’s independent processing of information under Google’s own policies.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Notice identifies when it was most recently revised.
