Token Billing & Cost Tracking

Track the Work.
Set the Case Rate.
Invoice the Case.

Angus4Law tracks every token within the case where the work occurs. Set a billing rate for each case, monitor usage across research, drafting, and review, and generate a separate month-end invoice saved in the corresponding Case Management file.Usage is tracked in the legal-case structure where billing needs to be understood—not as an undifferentiated AI credit pool.

How Case Billing Works

Every Token Has a Case.

Angus4Law keeps billing connected to the legal work being performed. Usage is captured as work occurs, attributed to the case, valued using the rate configured for that case, and retained as a monthly case invoice.

01

Track Every Token

Track token usage as attorneys use Angus Case Sidekick™, Writing Lab, Drafting Lab, research, analysis, and other Angus4Law workflows.

02

Set the Case Rate

Set the billing rate appropriate to each case, client engagement, or firm billing approach.

03

Generate and Save the Invoice

At month-end, Angus4Law generates a separate invoice for each case. The invoice is saved in that case’s Case Management file alongside its legal work.

One case. One record of Angus4Law work. One monthly invoice.

Billing Inside the Matter

The Invoice Belongs with the Work.

Research, analysis, drafting, and writing work all develop within a case. Angus4Law keeps the related usage and billing record in the same Case Management structure.

Each case can have its own configured rate, monthly usage record, and invoice history—so the billing record stays connected to the legal work, materials, and context that created it.

Case-Specific Rates

Set rates according to the case, client engagement, or billing approach.

Monthly Invoice History

Retain monthly Angus4Law invoices in the relevant Case Management file.

Connected Work Record

Keep case context, legal work, usage, and billing documentation together.

Enterprise Reporting

Send Case Invoices in Your Firm’s Name.

Enterprise firms can generate Angus4Law case invoices and reports with a firm-branded header. The billing record remains connected to the relevant case while the resulting document is prepared in the firm’s branded format.

Firm-Branded Reports & Invoices are included with Enterprise.
